Did You Know?

Results from laser resurfacing treatment are both immediate and progressive. Immediately after treatment, you will notice that your skin is softer, brighter, and has a more even tone. Within the next 3-6 months, you will also notice more improvement as the underlying layers of skin produce more collagen.

How Your Skin Can Change

  • Remove warts, liver spots, or birthmarks
  • Reduce creases around the eyes
  • Decrease the size of oil glands on the nose
  • Minimize the appearance of facial scars
  • Smooth wrinkles
  • Rejuvenate aged or sun damaged skin
  • Blends irregular skin tones

Fraxel

Fraxel lasers resurface the skin without destroying, removing, or peeling off the top layer of skin, allowing it to heal quickly. This laser uses two laser wavelengths. The first wavelength penetrates into the collagen to help heal scars and smooth wrinkles. The second wavelength works to correct imperfections with pigmentation and texture.

IPL

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is similar to laser treatment, however it uses a variety of wavelengths instead of a single wavelength. It works by reaching the middle layer of skin without harming the outer layer. Pigmented cells then absorb the light energy and convert it into heat, which eliminates the pigments. IPL can also be used to treat unwanted hair since it can destroy hair follicles.

Total FX (CO2 laser resurfacing)

Total FX lasers remove a thin layer of skin in order to treat sun damage, smooth wrinkles, and remove scars. The Total FX laser combines benefits of the Active FX and Deep FX lasers into a single treatment. The Active FX laser works in the upper layers of skin to treat hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and texture abnormalities. The Deep FX laser works in the deeper layers of the skin to correct fine lines and wrinkles, as well as to stimulate collagen production.
