Heather Langford, M.A., CCC-SLP
Heather Langford, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her Master of Arts degree in 1995 from the University of Maryland, College Park. She obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in 6/1/1996 and has primarily worked in hospital settings where she concentrated her skills in voice and swallowing disorders.
She specializes in the use of videostroboscopy for the evaluation of voice dysfunction in the professional voice user as well as those patients requiring care for head and neck cancer and those suffering from the effects of reflux. She works closely with the physician team to assist with interpretation of swallowing studies and goal setting for patients having difficulty eating by mouth due to the effects of radiation and dysphagia.
