Jennifer Rocca - Sexton, PA-C

Jennifer joined Dr. Meek at Anne Arundel ENT in 2009.  Jennifer works closely with Dr. Meek to ensure the best possible care and treatment for our clientele. She has extensive Otolaryngology training and, after many years working alongside Dr. Meek, independently performs a variety of advanced Otolaryngology diagnostics and procedures.

Prior to joining Dr. Meek, Jennifer worked for eight years practicing Primary Care and Family Medicine in Arnold, Maryland.  She has also worked in the fields of urgent care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and rheumatology. 

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Towson University and her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She continued post-graduate coursework in epidemiology and microbiology.  Prior to practicing medicine in a clinical setting, she practiced as a Research Assistant and Clinical Research Coordinator at Georgetown University School of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.   Several of her research years were spent participating in many fields of Otolaryngology research including the microbiology of sinonasal mucosa, head and neck cancer markers and gene therapy, and the role of acid reflux in laryngeal disorders.

Jennifer lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and children.  She is an avid exerciser, and enjoys cooking, travel, and spending time with family and friends as often as possible.  She is an advocate for whole body health and can often be found counseling patients and AAENT staff about optimizing health through proper nutrition, regular exercise, stress management, and plenty of laughter.
